Ngl, I had very little hope that this would survive The Purge. Your work has kept my passion for this game and the Hellforge project... Thank you so much!!

Right now, I don't see other player's status effects - for example, when I set up flame ammo to Grenade Pistol, the effect is being applied but not visually visible, meaning I sometimes run across a flame that I don't see but still catch fire.

Strange. You mean other player's ammo specifically? Mod does not synchronize between players.
ShiftyMoravian
As I said, basically, when you set incendiary ammo to any explosive weapon, the effect (fire) is inconsistently displayed where the projectile landed, but the effect is present. I'll do some more digging and I'll let you know more. Can I DM you on DC (I'm in HF)? I don't know if I can actually post pics here.

Doesn't seem to work? It visually changes the damage and the weapon notes, but doesn't touch rate of fire and magazine sizes. Is it incompatible with weapon rebalance addons? Also, is it possible to get a link or a name to this VFX support addon? I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

Added link. Compatibility with other mods on hellforge is not in yet
MartyrofMidnight14
Straight up no compatibility with literally any other mods? Dang, okay.
OfficerOnyx Author
Compatibility was before EAC broke the game, but Hellforge is a different case. At the tim of the upload, there were no overhaul mods.
TROCH22
Same as MartyrofMidnight14 I can not find this VFX support addon. Can you please provide us a link to it?

Seems like it isn't fully compatible with rebalancing mods. Sometimes descriptions only show upsides of the selected ammo type. Didn't fully test gameplay though, but upsides of selected weapons do work with rebalances... Weird

As I understand, rebalance mods on Hellforge are not detected yet. So, it may cause problems like no debuffs.

Using ChatGPT 6.1 Sol I've "fixed" the problem by converting the Total Arsenal Overhaul to C, so it's run "natively" within Hellforge, and your mod is 100% compatible with that version, it applies every buff and debuff to selected weapon after the rebalanced stats, and switching ammo back and forth causes no issues, so I believe the problem is not on your mod's side, but on how HD2Runtime handles the weapon changes and how two lua-based mods interact with each other
ZeroPlan
quasar and laser cannon have switched icons in the ammo menu
