SEAF Squad Stratagems

Created by JohnnyGrease · Updated 25 Oct 2026 · 154 downloads

Adds in a small collection of custom stratagems that call in specialized SEAF squads, including patrol, anti-tank, crowd control, and stealth-themed squads.

About this mod

This mod adds a small collection of stratagems that call in a squad of SEAF to assist the player, patrol the area, or engage enemies on their own.

Currently there are four types of squads that are available:

Patrol Squad:

This is a standard squad of SEAF infantry. It uses the same equipment and squad roles as the regular SEAF squads in the base game.

Delivered via Pelican transport.

Tank Hunter Squad:

This is a squad of SEAF infantry that acts in an anti-tank role. Its squad members consist of riflemen equipped with Adjudicator assault rifles, a machine gunner, a heavy machine gunner, a heavy anti-tank specialist wielding a GR-8 Recoilless Rifle and its associated ammo backpack, a squad leader wielding an Eruptor, and a combat medic wielding the Diligence Counter-Sniper.

Delivered via Pelican transport.

Crowd Control Squad:

This is a squad of SEAF infantry that can stun and suppress large groups of enemies. Its squad members consist of riflemen equipped with Pacifiers, a breacher equipped with the Halt shotgun, a grenadier wielding the De-Escalator Grenade Launcher, and two combat medics equipped with an upgraded Defender SMG.

Delivered via Pelican transport.

Covert Strike Squad:

This is a squad of SEAF infantry that can swiftly neutralize light and medium-armored targets in a (mostly) silent manner. Its squad members consist of riflemen equipped with AR-59 Suppressors, marksmen equipped with R-72 Censors, and a single combat medic equipped with the P-35 Re-Educator.

Delivered via Pelican transport.

Note:

This mod is a heavy work in progress, as I am currently researching how to further customize the AI so that they can be more effective at using new weapons / equipment. Expect some bugs, such as SEAF squaddies getting stuck in / around terrain, or accidentally blowing up themselves, their allies, or yourself. Until the AI can be edited to better match their new gear, I suggest you use a mod such as Smarter SEAF to try and negate some of these issues.

More squad types are planned for future updates.
